Wie zijn wij van Het Rode Keukentje?/ Who are we of the Little Red Kitchen?
Kameraden die koken; dit is hoe we tegenmacht willen bouwen. We vragen aandacht en zamelen geld in voor solidaire doelen door mensen bijeen te brengen rond de eettafel, met speciale aandacht voor vrouwen, queer personen en mensen van kleur.
Rood is de kleur van vruchten, pepers, tomaten, aardbeien, feminisme en communisme. Koken is politiek en daarom zorgen we voor een keuken die belangrijke initiatieven steunt door gebruikt te maken van alternatieven voor commerciële supermarkten en groothandels. We gebruiken lokale voedselproducenten, overschotten, en investeren in de initiatieven binnen lokale gemeenschappen. Soms koken we gratis, op donatie basis of voor een solidaire prijs.
We organiseren evenementen of dragen bij met onze eigen recepten, lokale producten, maar als het past ook met sprekers, fotografie of actie-materialen. We bevinden ons hoofdzakelijk in Rotterdam en Amsterdam, maar komen ook graag daar buiten. Voel je niet verlegen te informeren naar wat we kunnen doen. We koken ter plekke, of komen voorbereid!

English - Who are we at the Little Red Kitchen/Het Rode Keukentje?
Comrades who cook; this is how we want to build counter-power. We raise awareness and money for causes that need solidarity, by bringing people together around the dinner table; paying attention to women, queer people and people of colour in particular.
Red is the color of fruits, peppers, tomatoes, strawberries, feminism and communism. Cooking is political and that is why we provide a kitchen that supports alterantives to commercial supermarkets. We invest in important initiatives by using local food producer, surpluses, and community initiatives. Sometimes we cook for free, on a donation basis or for a comradely price.
We organize and contribute to events with our own recipes, local products, but if appropriate also with speakers, photography or action materials. We are mainly located in Rotterdam and Amsterdam, but we also like to travel. Don't feel shy to inquire about what we can do. We cook on the spot, or come prepared!
